In terms of mileage, both the bikes are quite close. Hero Glamour X 125 claims that it can give a mileage of around 65 kmpl, while Honda Shine 125 also gives a mileage of around 64-65 kmpl. Price: Who fits in the budget?
In terms of price, two variants of Hero Glamour X 125 are available. Its drum brake variant is priced at Rs 89,999 ex-showroom and the disc brake variant is priced at Rs 99,999. On the other hand, the drum brake variant of Honda Shine 125 is available at Rs 85,590 and the disc brake variant at Rs 90,341 (ex-showroom). Price-wise, the Honda Shine 125 is slightly cheaper, but the Hero Glamour X 125 offers more value with its premium features like cruise control and LED lights.
Design and Build: Who is the best in looks?
The Hero Glamour X 125 has a modern and muscular design. It has a new metallic “Glamour” badge, bold “X” logo, and all-LED lighting (in the disc variant), which gives it a premium look. It has a ground clearance of 170 mm and a seat height of 790 mm, making it comfortable for most riders.
The Honda Shine 125 has a more simple and sleek design. It has a front visor with chrome strip and a ground clearance of 162 mm. Its seat height is 791 mm, which is almost equal to the Hero. Honda’s design will appeal to those who want simplicity and classic style.
